1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website bipoco.hu (“Website”), operated by X-Business Kft. (Company registration number: X-Business Kft., VAT: HU25542842, Headquarters: 1134 Budapest, Váci út 47., Hungary) as a service provider on behalf of BiPoCo – Community and Conference Series on Bio-based Polymers and Composites (“Event”).

By accessing or using the Website, registering for the Event, or submitting any information, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Website.

2. Role of the Parties

• BiPoCo / BME is the organizer of the Event.

   

• X-Business Kft. acts as a technical and service provider, operating the Website, handling registration, invoicing, and payment processing.

   

3. Website Functionality

The Website provides:

• Information about the Event, speakers, programme, and logistics.

   

• Online registration for participation.

   

• Submission of abstracts and related data.

   

• Automatic invoice generation through szamlazz.hu.

   

• Optional online payment via Barion.

   

The Website is operated using WordPress and Jetpack CRM.

4. Eligibility

Users must be 18 years or older to submit a registration. Age verification is not strictly enforced, but by registering you confirm that you meet this requirement.

5. Registration & Payment

5.1 Registration Data

Users must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.

5.2 Invoice Generation

• A pro forma invoice is automatically generated after registration via szamlazz.hu and emailed to the registrant.

   

• Users receive a link to modify their data; modifying certain fields (e.g., VAT number) may generate a new pro forma invoice.

   

5.3 Payment Options

• Credit card (via Barion): Payment link is provided in an email from szamlazz.hu.

   

• Bank transfer: Payment is manually confirmed in the CRM.

   

5.4 Finalization of Registration

A registration is considered final and confirmed only after successful payment.

6. Changes to the Event

The organizers reserve the right to modify the programme, speakers, schedule or any other aspect of the Event without prior notice.

If the Event is cancelled or postponed, all paid fees will be fully refunded.
The organizers are not liable for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by attendees.

7. Intellectual Property

• All event materials, logos, branding, presentations, and website content are the intellectual property of BiPoCo.

   

• Submitted abstracts and presentation materials remain the property of the submitter.

   

• Users grant BiPoCo a non-exclusive right to use abstracts and titles for the purposes of the Event (programme book, website, etc.).

   

8. Technical Availability

The Website is provided “as is.”
X-Business Kft. does not guarantee continuous or error-free availability of the site, forms, payment system, or CRM integration.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Neither X-Business Kft. nor BiPoCo shall be liable for indirect or consequential damages.

   

• Liability for service interruptions, technical failures, or accidental data loss is excluded.

   

• Organizers are not responsible for attendees’ personal arrangements (e.g. travel, accommodation).

   

10. Amendments

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.
