BiPoCo Emerging Voices

Dedicated Session & Mentorship Programme for Young Researchers

BiPoCo Emerging Voices is a dedicated session of BiPoCo 2026 created to give early-career researchers a platform to present their work, build confidence, and connect with the wider scientific community. Participants present their research in short, focused talks before an engaged audience and a small panel of senior academics. The panel’s role is not to judge, but to guide — offering the kind of constructive, experienced perspective that early-career researchers rarely have easy access to.

To recognise outstanding contributions and sustain the spirit of the session beyond the conference itself, the panel will select the most promising participants for a

3-month mentorship programme

in which recipients are paired with experienced researchers for regular online meetings and personalised professional guidance.
